“I’ve always wanted Olivia. Always desired her, from before I even knew what those strange feelings were in my gut, my chest.”
Well, the first volume of the series was funny and fast paced. The story involves Noah and Olivia – they are set up by their families that are in business together to take over the company only if they get married otherwise a third will take over. With this book what the blurb says, that’s what you get. It’s a fluffy story heavy on the humor and the sexual innuendos that can be read within a couple of hours if not faster since it’s pretty short.
Noah is cocky and yet he has been in love with Olivia since forever so out of the two he’s the one that has no problem getting hitched. Olivia on the other hand isn’t his biggest fan and for the most part I couldn’t blame her. Noah is too cocky and makes a lot of references to his size all the freaking time. The sexual chemistry between the two felt forced and way too much, plus they are supposed to be childhood friends since their families are in business together and yet they didn’t know the basics of each other’s lives so that wasn’t convincing.
Overall, if you need a fluffy, fast story to get you out of a book slump or some fun light reading, this is it.
