2 stars!

It was ok. I wasn’t expecting it to be super realistic but this was truly below.

The story revolves around identical twin sisters Kelsey and Michelle. When one of twin sisters dies, the other one completely loses it. Everyone deals with grief differently but Kelsey really went beyond different. My major issue wasn’t her though but like any YA book, the parents.

I understand that in order for the plot to have some continuation the parents are not that present or they go over the top. In this one they were barely there, same goes for family and friends. And her freaking boyfriend. Her social life went to zero, no one around her even noticed her weird behavior, she was literally becoming her sister chapter by chapter, even taking her art classes. Plus her parents let her go to freaking Paris, no explanation was given as to how that happened but it did, she went to Paris and came back like it was nothing.

I kept reading to see how everyone around her, especially Peter would react but that was too short and then HEA, could have been a lot better! Still a good enough read though if anything to see how people deal with grief in ways that you can’t imagine. That part felt pretty real, could have been more analyzed.
