Reasonable Doubt: Volume Two by Whitney Gracia Williams

4 amazing stars!

I’ve been waiting for this for so looong – since I read Vol. 1 – and OMG it did not disappoint although Ι it was shorter than the first one and that is why I rated it with 4 stars instead of 5. Volume one had the element of surprise and it amazed me. It wasn’t on my reading list and it was mind-blowing, it set the bar pretty high for volume two.

I really wish she was someone else—someone who didn’t have the ability to make me feel, someone I could easily discard like the hundreds of women before her.
She isn’t.

Andrew and Aubrey’s story continues, as captivating as ever. Andrew is his usual dirty-talking, cocky self, and Aubrey stands her ground and doesn’t let him get away with anything.

Reasonable Doubt by Whitney G.

After discovering that Aubrey lied to him, his story unfolds and all the issues he has with lies and women and commitment come pouring out.  I have to say, I kind of saw it coming. Andrew and his past were nothing knew and at the end I was pretty much like that.

But, even if I saw it coming it still was shocking and as usual it hooked me in. Andrew is a true anti-hero. He won’t apologize for the way he behaves and he definitely won’t apologize for the way he feels. He has been true to his words from page one and he is still going strong. If he was for any other guy and if this book was a novel size one that he would have been too much but this little novellas are the right thing for his amazing character.

This book is more about Andrew’s past, and let me tell you, I have no clue what is going on there and I freaking love it. He is elusive and he has a lot to reveal, I can only imagine what surprises volume two will have!
