5 luffed-luffed-luffed it stars!

The term “caveman” has been used a lot when it comes to male book characters and their caveman behavior towards their love interests/main female character.

And yet, Shay Savage did the one and only thing that no one has ever even thought of doing.

She created an actual caveman. Yes, an actual lives-in-a-cave-wears-animal-skin-caveman.

It’s said that women and men are from two different planets when it comes to communication, but how can they overcome the obstacles of prehistoric times when one of them simply doesn’t have the ability to comprehend language?

Ehd is a caveman living on his own in the wilderness. When he finds Beh – Elisabeth but I don’t think he’ll ever be able to say her full name – he is happy, for he has finally found a mate and he will no longer be alone.

His mate is in distress. She makes weird sounds. She wears weird clothes that really won’t help her carry weapons and food and she doesn’t like him very much.

She may be strange; she may not know how to make baskets, and she may be very noisy, but she is my mate, and I’m thrilled she is here.

But she is his mate. He has to provide for her and protect her. It’s what mates do.

Beh & Ehd

Ehd is adorable and funny to be in his head. The book itself has the least amount of dialogue I’ve ever read in a book and yet it doesn’t feel long and boring. On the contrary, it makes it easy to read and funny and it comes alive with the detailed descriptions about their daily life.

My life with Beh was beautiful, transcending everything that set us apart from each other…

If you want something different and new to read, then this book is it.
