5 heartbreaking stars!
Although, truly there are not enough stars in the sky for this series.
This is not for the fainthearted! This is for all of you who are desperately waiting to get some answers – finally! – and let me tell you, you are about to enter a whirlwind of emotions. Grab some tissues and brace yourselves because this is not going to be easy. At all.
So, the second book picks up right after the heart stopping cliffhanger. Heart freaking stopping but don’t fret, the second book does NOT have a cliffy, you can go on and read. After that heartbreaking moment, there was another one, and even if I hate cliffhangers Breach was freaking epic. E P I C
Lila wakes up in the hospital after a terrible car crash but that might have been what Nathan needed from the start. A hard slap of reality to make him see what he was doing by pushing her away and turning his back to her. Now that he almost lost her, he is going to try and earn her trust but the only way to do that is to open up to her and reveal his secrets so that they can both heal and move on.
This is were the tissues might come in handy.
Going through Nathan’s past will make you cry like a little baby but you will get some much needed answers because he was not an asshole without a reason, obviously.
This story is so heartbreaking and so beautifully written that I wanted to find a way to get inside the pages and hug them both. Their love can overcome pretty much everything since they have both been through hell and yet they find a way to heal each other. Because no matter how many times I say it, it will not be enough. This story is epic.
Apart from the steamy hot sex, which steamy doesn’t even cover it, the depth of the characters and the situations they deal with – normally to me – it would seem way too much and a little over the top for a book but it is so beautifully delivered that even the most unbelievably tough situations can look pretty close to reality.
There is never a dull moment, or a moment that you’d think “This is just not possible.” or “Those things just don’t happen.” That is not possible for this book! Forever on my favorites list and I can’t wait for the next book!
